This is neither a famous franchise based restaurant nor a popular chain. It's just one of those restaurants that thrives on the popularity and branding of its neighbouring big brother - Mainland China. Like us, most people who do not have a reservation and reach the place only to find that Mainland China is full are the ones who say "Hell, let's try Sigree today". Once you take the call and enter this place, be sure that you won't leave disappointed. It's one of those restaurants that knows what it wants its guests to eat and doesn't play around too much with broad based feeding. You are told it's a North Indian restaurant and north Indian cuisine it serves; And with quite a bit of flair too.

Ambience(2/5): The biggest gripe with Sigree's ambience is that it bang next to Mainland China and any comment on its aesthetics can only be relative to that of Mainland China's. It's not a themed decor. It doesn't try to look 'LIKE' any thing or place. It just wants to look good and good it looks. But considering how pricey the place is, I would expect a bit more effort into the interior design. The placing of the tables seemed rather haphazard. Psychologically, you are bound to be confused the moment you enter the place. Most tables are 6 seaters and you will find a couple of 4 seaters here and there. Its almost as if couples are not entertained here.

Food(4/5): Dhuandhar Lal Tikka with an assortment of chutneys ranging from Pudhina Chutneys with a tangy flavour to Tamarind Chutneys with a mildly sweet flavour. Complimentary onions with pickle coatings help making the right start to the meal. The Zafrani Briyani was one of the best I've had (of course, nothing beats the Briyani at home). You should definitely try it! Ordered Mishti Dahi and Rabri Malpova for dessert. While the latter impressed me, the former was a fail. But that was just a small black dot in what was otherwise a pleasant experience. 4 stars for a sumptuous, filling and delicious meal.

Service(4/5): After spending 3 years in Bangalore, opening up to the service at Mumbai was always going to be a pleasant experience. Somewhere, I've always felt that the 'Courtesy' factor is a lot more appreciated in Mumbai than Bangalore. The stewards were very courteous and patient. The speed of service is pretty appreciable. No real complaints in this area.

Value For Money(3/5): The food is definitely on the higher side. But considering how good the food is and how accessible the place is, you will find good value for money here. The north Indian cuisine seemed authentic enough though no where close to what it should be. Can be a good place for a family meal. Be ready to spend at least a 1000 bucks for a couple here.

Recommend? (Yes) For the good service, decent ambience and better food, this place is a definite must-visit if you are a foodie.

This place is located in Platinum Techno Park behind Raghuleela Mall, Vashi. It is hardly 5 minutes walking distance from Vashi Railway Station.

🔆AMBIENCE :- Ambience is calm and beautiful. Sitting arrangement is comfortable. Though the Ala carte had few options the taste was absolutely delicious.

🔆 SERVICE:-Mr Anup and Mr Bishal were superb with their hospitality....we will come again because of these two  and off course the food ....applaud to their politeness and the way they took care of us.

What’s more is that - during covid times - the staff was super helpful, taking all precautions - giving a safe and scrumptious lunch experience.

So, Mutter Mushroom was not just a good but great in taste. This is without doubt the best Mutter Mushrrom I have had and believe me, I have had a lot!

Biryani is the delicacy of this restaurant.

Chicken biryani was aromatic and so rich in taste. Had all flavours blended in. Its unusual taste makes it even more better. Highly Recommended!

Gulab Jamun was divine and surely something to die for.

Everything is perfect about this place right from music, ambience, service, food and hospitality.

Situated at the first floor, this restaurant share its entrance with other restaurants too. They have enough seating space- can accomodate around 50 people at a time. Comfortable seating arrangements. A restaurant that has family vibes. Ambiance is classy, little decoration yet ended up at being subtle. They also serve buffet apart from their regular menu. I opted for the menu option.

Tried a few mocktails.

TF forbidden punch glass: A mocktail with cranberry and pineapple juice. Perfectly blended. Perfectly sweetened too. Blended with cream. This one had aroma of hazelnut too. Thick preparation. A bit tangy.

TF Orangepiroksha: A caprioska version of mocktail. Orange drink basically with orange slices. This had mint leaves too. Had a good amount of ice cubes.

Tried a couple of vegetarian appetizers. Makai seekh and paneer Rawalpindi.

Makai seekh: Eight pieces in one serving. One serving is enough for two persons. Delicious. Soft and melting seekh kebab. Served with plain onion rings.

Paneer Rawalpindi: This was served on a sizzler bed. Red hot preparation. Spicy yet Tangy. Paneer laid over the cabbage. Topped with coriander and cabbage. Eight pieces of paneer cubes in one serving. Soft and delicious paneer. Paneer cubes were fresh.

In main course, opted for matar mushroom hara pyaz. It was a good choice indeed. Delicious mushroom. Gravy was quite thick and delicious too. Goes well with tandoori roti.

In dessert, had ice cream. Strawberry ice cream ended our meal perfectly.

Overall, this is a nice place to have any meal. A perfect place for family dinner or any gathering. Service is cordial...
